Consolidated as a multi-purpose department of Human Resources, Civil Service by Cameron County Commissioners' Court in 1993.

  • Human Resources: an information center of position openings, Personnel Policies, Fair Labor Standards Policies/Issues, and New Employee Enrollment. Health Plan Enrollment, changes, and assist with information as it relates to health benefits
  • Safety: Coordination and implementation of county and department accident prevention plan. Record, Track workers compensation injuries and assist injured employees.
  • Risk Management: Liaison for liability issues with Barron Risk Management (TPA)
